Can athletes from outside the US get US sports scholarships?
Yes. US colleges award over $3.6 billion in athletic scholarships every year, and international athletes are eligible. They compete in every NCAA division and in every sport.
How much can I get in athletic scholarships?
A D1 scholarship can cover tuition, room, board and books ($50,000–$80,000 a year). D2 offers partial scholarships. D3 gives academic aid but no athletic scholarships.
Do I need to speak perfect English?

When should I start contacting coaches?
Ideally two to three years before you plan to enroll. In most sports, coaches can contact you officially from June 15 after your sophomore year (10th grade).
