03Questions

Questions coaches ask us.

Where do the athletes come from?

Self-registered student-athletes who build their own profile and chose to be seen by college coaches. We never scrape rosters or buy data.

How do I sign up as a coach?

Apply with your school email, name, school, sport, division and program. Our team reviews coach applications to keep the portal verified; once approved you get athlete search, messaging and saved lists.

Is AthlyAI free for coaches?

Yes. AthlyAI is free for verified college coaches. No credit card required.

What filters can I use?

Sport, position, country, U.S. state, graduation year, minimum GPA on the U.S. 4.0 scale, division preference, program gender and highlight-video availability. All filters combine.

Can I contact athletes directly?

Yes. Open an athlete's profile, click Message, and the conversation lives in your portal inbox, with unread counts and notifications. No agent in the middle.

Is there a contract or commission?

No. No commission, no per-message charge, no resold leads.

Which divisions are supported?

NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and NJCAA. Athletes mark the divisions they're targeting, so a D3 coach doesn't wade through D1-only profiles.
